Service Description

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week secular program designed to teach mindfulness skills and strategies for developing compassionate awareness of the present moment. Extensive research has shown that mindfulness and participation in the MBSR course can help reduce stress, pain, depression, and anxiety, and improve leadership skills, performance, and overall well-being. Participants will meet weekly for 2.5 hours and learn through guided meditations, inquiry discussions, mindfulness exercises, home practice, and a retreat. The course fee is $625 (early bird $575), which includes access to guided meditation recordings, handouts, and the retreat. Sliding scale rates are available.
